One of the worst parts of growing older is how fast the days seem to go. Since March, we've been busy with school, work and the daily routine. Most weekends get spent on chores and down time. But as I have been looking back on all our photos I realized we have managed to have a lot of fun as a family too. Maybe one of the best parts of growing older is being happy and enjoying day to day life with the ones
you love most.
you love most. Abigail is the swimming champ! We are proud of what a great swimmer Abby has become. She's always adored the water, but her stroke is really looking good these days. Here she is passing a level at swimming lessons. She is her daddy's girl (he LOVES it).
We took a trip before Easter to Elk Grove and saw Gramma. Uncle Mike, Aunt Shayna and the cousins...Nicholas, Allie, and Katie came from Oregon and Jeff's cousin Angie came from Washington. It is always special when we can all be together. Easter 2009 was spent at Aunt Jenni's house. We always have a great time hunting for eggs and feasting. A good part of the day was spent playing Tripoly and eating candy of course! This is a picture we took of the whole bunch...Jeff, Grandma Jane, Craig, Spencer, Nana, Allison, Abigail, Jenni, Papa, me and Lil.
Jeff's first trip to Storyland was a blast. You never know how it will look from year to year, but this year it looked great. It's nice to see new paint and flowers at a Fresno classic. Fun was had even though Abigail didn't get a prince after all.

You girls are so beautiful. I can't believe how big they are getting. I haven't been to storyland in years. Every time we go to Fresno we say we're going to stop there it just never seems to happen. Glad to hear it's still being kept up after all these years. And seriously...it was Jeff's first visit to Storyland!
